How to use

Application

Spread mulch over the soil surface to a minimum depth of 50mm. This will cover approx 0.5 – 1 square metre.

Don’t mulch right up to the base of plants, leave a gap of at least 50mm from the trunk.

Mulches are materials which are placed over the soil surface to reduce evaporation and erosion, retard weed growth and insulate plants from extreme temperatures.

Organic mulches are made from natural materials which will break down slowly over time. This adds nutrients to the soil and enhances conditions for beneficial micro organisms.
